I love Easter, the coloring of eggs, they buying of candy, the hiding of the baskets, the whole really good dinner at someone else’s house. It just doesn’t get any better than this! I as I always do went way overboard when purchasing the candy for the kids baskets. What the heck was I thinking??!! Apparently I didn’t remember that I am trying to get back on the straight and narrow weight watchers path, and apparently I didn’t remember that none of us really need to have this much candy in our house!! I think I might freeze some of it and then we can have some every now and again. Will have to talk to the kids about it!
It was bound to happen again some point. I think all of us **well Joyce and I ** must have been PMSing yesterday! I was sorta outta sorts, and well I am thinking she only tolerates me sometimes. I must grate on her nerves. She made this nasty comment about Jack my brother giving me money for the new camera I want to buy to take the photos at his wedding. Joyce asked me why I wasn’t doing it for free. UHMMM I would but I don’t have the equipment to do it for free. I’m not charging them for my service, but when they asked me I told them I didn’t have the equipment and they said that would be part of the deal he would buy me a new camera. He said he would be paying for pictures and he would rather see me have a new camera and have some fun, than pay someone else a lot more money. I am excited about the whole deal and he gave me the $700 for the new camera yesterday. Well I guess we should all know better when it comes to money and do it in private because when Joyce saw it and made that comment it made me feel horrible like I was taking advantage of them. I would never do that. My brother reassured me that they would have spend far more for pictures that what they will cost them to buy me the new camera. I haven’t figured out where to get the prints all made. I’m thinking maybe Wally world but not entirely sure. The reason my sister got all up in arms about him giving me money was because they are helping him get his house gutted from a fire back in ohhhh 1982 and make it livable. I think it is wonderful that they are helping him, but they are also very forceful when it comes to things and well I think they are pushing Lori around a bit and forget that it is Jack’s house. Nonethe less I think every one has their own ideas. I am going to try and help Lori understand how to go about saving some money so they can stick to their budget but let her make the choices. Make it feel like her home not just something Joyce and Greg created.

So another holiday I would have rather just stayed home and hung out here, or went to Steph’s and not even went out to my family. If it weren’t for my Mom.
Well today is a busy day for the kids,, ohh yeah and their taxi driver which would be uhmmm ME!! Paul is going to apply at Giant Eagle, and Kay wants to go tanning and I need to get toilet paper and return some books to the library and be home by noon to do Paul’s girlfriend’s hair. Yep a busy day. I also need to get the new printer hooked up in order to get Kayla on to get her job-study stuff mailed. Busy busy busy day!!
